| Since the activated sludge process come out and put into use, as the core of thesewage treatment process, sludge activity and performance is good or bad directlyaffects the wastewater treatment plant’s final treatment effect. But in actual operationprocess of sewage treatment plant, activated sludge system is always impacted by avariety of load, the impact load can cause varying degrees of influence on the activatedsludge system, such as poor performance of activated sludge sedimentation sludgenitrification effect caused by variation of the water is not standard and so on a series ofproblems. In order to study the ammonia nitrogen in wastewater treatment plant effluentsubstandard problem, namely after the impact on sludge nitrification performancebecomes poor. In order to study in the substandard of ammonia nitrogen in thewastewater treatment plant effluent, sludge nitrification performance variation afterimpact on this study, based on the research on the actual situation in active sludge wasteleachate and high concentration ammonia nitrogen under the impact of two kinds ofconditions, its effect on the performance of activated sludge, and find a way to improvethe impact of nitrification performance of the activated sludge. During the operation ofthe sewage treatment plant, after the impact, the activated sludge settling propertiesdeteriorate, resulting in the loss of nitrifying bacteria. A basic hypothesis of this study isthe sludge nitrification performance and there may be a connection betweensedimentation performance, therefore, using chemical flocculation method to improvesludge settling performance, so as to improve the impact load of sludge sedimentationperformance, maintain a good nitrification performance and implement.Results showed that: 1. The influence of sludge properties and recovery of nitrification performanceUnder the condition of waste leachate impact load(1) In the waste leachate shock load conditions, the performance of the activatedsludge would be severely damaged, weakened mainly displays in the activated sludgesedimentation performance becomes poor, nitrification ability, active biomass reductionand so on. The biomass, i.e., autotrophic bacteria and heterotrophic bacteria, were alsoincreased from24.25and724.17to16.74and474.33(mg/L) when the sludge in wasteleachate.(2) After added calcium, iron ions in activated sludge, which can improve thesedimentation and the nitrification performance of activated sludge. Since theaddition of calcium, iron ions, not only reduces the surface charge of the cell, cellaggregation easier to achieve, the sludge in the sludge density becomes large, at thesame time the the floc particle diameter becomes large, tightness becomes large,thereby improving the activated sludge precipitate performance; but also as calcium,iron ions add increases the number of available binding proteins, polysaccharide/protein ratio was decreased gradually, which leads to a relatively hydrophobicenhancement of the sludge surface, thereby improving the activated sludge settlingproperties. Nitrification performance of the activated sludge with the improvement.(3) After added calcium, iron ions in activated sludge, sludge increased theactivity of the biomass. This is due to the addition of calcium, iron ions, precipitationperformance changed for the better, and reduce the loss of sludge; hand is as calcium,iron ions added, the activity of the activated sludge has also been improved impactresistance the ability of the load increases, so that the enhanced activity itself.Therefore, there will be an increase of the active biomass. The influence of sludge properties and recovery of nitrification performanceUnder the condition of the high ammonia load conditions(1) Through comparison and analysis in three reactors, the change of the sludgesedimentation performance, can be obtained with calcium ions, the sludge sedimentation performance is improved.(2) Addition of calcium ions, activated sludge ammonia nitrogen removal has alsobeen improved, the existence of a positive relationship between the nitrificationperformance and sludge settling properties of activated sludge settling propertieschanged for the better, sludge nitrification performance changes.(3) The activated sludge even when the subject under the ammonia impact loadconditions, after the addition of calcium ions, the biological activity of the activesludge to be variable, the biomass, i.e., autotrophic bacteria and heterotrophic bacteria,were also increased from20.99and574.17to27.40and2265.83(mg/L)and thereforehave improved the performance of the activated sludge after addition of calcium ionscan be used as ammonia impact improve nitrification performance of a method ofguidance. |
