Adsorption method, which can adsorb SO2of in flue gas, is higher removalefficiency, less energy. The activated carbon is commonly used adsorption materials.Because of sludge carbon-rich and organic compound, through the physical or chemicalor pyrolysis activation method sludge can be transformed into activated carbon, realizing the sludge resource utilization, meanwhile the SO2of in flue gas purificationadsorption successfully waste treat waste purpose. It was through microwave irradiationin existence of zinc chloride transformed into activated carbon. Compared withtraditional preparation heating method, microwave irradiation preparation heating hadoutstanding excellence is it has high efficiency and quickly reaction speed. It could beby a large margin reduce the time of reaction and effectively reduced the time of thetransformed into sludge activated carbon. The experimental on different microwave power, irradiation time and the ratio ofactivator to sludge to study influence on the performance of the adsorption. on the basisof single factor experiment, using the orthogonal experiment got the best preparationplan, The results show that the best microwave radition heating preparation conditionsis the microwave power is500W, the ratio of activator to sludge is5:5,Irradiation timeis300s. The degree of influence of the preparation conditions on the adsorptionperformance in turn as follows: Microwave power> Irradiation time> the ratio ofactivator to sludge. The sludge was prepared with chemical activation with ZnCl2. During theactivation process, it was by adding7%of wheat straw mixed, The BET surface areawere as high as463.12m2/g, increasing by40.15%than without appropriately additive (330.43m2/g), and the sludge activated carbon microporous was increased from the0.067cm3/g to0.105cm3/g. Using with adding7%of straw preparation of the activatedcarbon to SO2adsorption experiments, The results indicate that: The best condition inadsorption of SO2with preparation of sludge carbon is on the gas velocity of3.28m/min,bed height is9cm, SO2inlet concentration of l200mg/m3, reaction bed temperature30℃,water vapor content is10%, and the desulfurization efficiency Maintain above90%inthe penetrating time.Thermal decomposition of the Sludge activated carbon we can know the qualityloss is mainly the moisture evaporate and the decomposition of functional groups. Butafter the adsorption the quality loss mainly under the condition of high temperaturesulfuric acid decomposition except the moisture evaporate and the decomposition offunctional groups. Test for heavy metal content found only the zinc heavy metal contentin the process is much than before, but other metals content in the process is less thanbefore. Analysis of FTIR shows that there are lots of Chemical functional groups suchas Alcohols, phenols, amines, and aromatic substances and other substances On thesurface of sludge activated carbon, but we can see only little area have the reactions ofchemical, and the change is very small, This phenomenon shows that the adsorptionmainly physical.
