In-situ synthesis method is a kind of good method to prepare good performancecomposite material, characteristic of the preparation of composite material can increase thebody surface no pollution, good matrix and enhance body intermiscibility, the higherinterface bonding strength and so on, so application is very extensive.The TiC is performance better compound, due to its lattice structure, make it has highhardness, high melting point, wear resistance and good thermal stability etc, it can be appliedin many fields.This paper first uses XD method to study the Fe-Ti-C system synthesis TiC/Fecomposite material, through the research of the thermodynamics and Kinetics, knowledge ofthe specific reaction process, and various factors on composite material morphology,microstructure, properties of the effect,and then study the legal system for powder metallurgyTiCp/Fe composite material, and then and studied the application of laser cladding.Through the Fe-Ti-C system synthesis TiC/Fe composite material thermodynamicsanalysis shows that the Fe-Ti-C system may be some product mainly has TiC, Fe3C, FeTi,Fe2Ti, the possibility of products: TiC> Fe2Ti> FeTi> Fe3C, when n(Ti): n(C)=1:1, Ti and Ccan just completely TiC formation, and no other product; When n(Ti): n(C)≠1:1, when Cexcess, the product has not only TiC, but also Fe3C, when Ti excess, the product is TiC andFe2Ti, but generate FeTi can be very small.Through the Fe-Ti-C system synthesis TiC/Fe composite Kinetics analysis that thesystem of reaction process is α-Fe into reported γ-Fe in760℃and918℃at first. Then Feand Ti or so reaction formation Fe2Ti in1150℃, finally C and Fe2Ti or so reaction generatingTiC in1158℃, through calculation indicated that the formation Fe2Ti reaction activationenergy E*=80KJ/mol, formation of the TiC reaction activation energy E*=310KJ/mol,visible TiC reaction is Fe-Ti-C system main reactions.Through the powder metallurgy legal system for TiCp/Fe composite material show that:from sintering temperature show: when the sintering temperature to1400℃, strengthenbody TiC and matrix Fe happen is not obvious interface reaction; From the heat preservation time show: when the heat preservation time is3h, strengthen body TiC and Fe matrixchanged obviously interface reaction. at the same time each composite material hardness test,Comprehensive consideration of the selected sintering temperature of1300℃, holding time is2hours is good sintering process.In the laser cladding, by changing the power and scanning speed, it is concluded thatdifferent parameters of the cladding layer, Through the cladding layer microstructure analysisand performance measurement. it is to know that when P=3700W, V=3mm/s, theoptimum properties of cladding layer, but also improve the performance of the matrixrepresentation.
