Coal is very important basic energy and industrial raw material in China, it has a very important strategic position in the development of the national economy. The coal spontaneous combustion in China is also very serious, more than half of the state-owned coal mine have the danger of spontaneous combustion, the trend which the coal mine safety production faced is very grim. In order to control the disaster which caused by coal spontaneous combustion, the domestic and foreign scholars have conducted research on the theory of spontaneous combustion and the method of coal mine prevention and extinguishing.This paper starts from the research on resistance of inhibition foam for preventing coal spontaneous combustion, the composition selection of inhibition foam was theoretical studied, the inhibition performance and mechanism of the inhibition foam was studied from the macro and micro aspect by programmed heating experiment and the infrared spectrum experiment, and on the basic of theoretical study of migration resistance on the foam, the numerical model was established, the resistance of the foam accumulation migration in golf was systematic studied. On the basic of theoretical and experimental research, the application process was researched, and it was field applied on the1306working face of Zhaolou Coal Mine, the changes of the gas on the working face was analyzed. The results apply theoretical reference for field application of inhibition foam and the resistance of prevention improved.In order to get the best effect of foam inhibition of coal spontaneous combustion, the main group of inhibition foam formulations were studied. The influence of coal spontaneous combustion by inhibition foam was tested by programmed heating experiment, and the inhibition performance was gained; the inhibition mechanism was studied by Fourier infrared spectrum experiment, the mechanism of inhibition foam was approved that it destructs the activity structure at low temperature, the formation of stable links, the spontaneous combustion characteristics reduces.According to the characteristic of that the golf was a hidden space and it’s hard to field observed the movement of the foam, in the basic of theoretical research on migration and rheological properties by foam in the porous medium, the numerical model in accordance with the actual golf was established, the migration in the golf was simulated, the influence by the air-leak was studied, and the influence of the foam condition of migration and accumulation to the fire-prevention of the workface was analyzed.On the basic of theoretical and experimental research and numerical simulation, the actual application of inhibition foam on the1306working face of Zhaolou Coal Mine was finished, through the research on the foaming equipment and principle, the technical parameters of the application process and equipment of the inhibition foam was determined, the problem of the gas concentration increasing in return corner of the1306workface on the stop-mining-period was solved, a good effect was fetched, the resistance of fire prevention and extinguishing of inhibition foam was exerted fully.
