Water blocking and jamin effect are the main factors which lead to waterflooding pressure go up, and difficult to inject water, then lower the recoveryefficiency in the low permeability. It is important to research water blocking andjamin effect. The formation mechanism of water blocking and jamin effect areanalysed, set up a criterion to evaluate water blocking and jamin effect. At the sametime, studying the influencing factors of them.The yield of nonionic surfactant accounts for a large proportion of surfactant, ithas many excellent performance, such as foam, defoam, emulsify, disperse, wetting,solubilizing. The surface activity is high efficiency, it is easy to be degraded anddissolved. More and more oilmen pay attention to nonionic surfactant.A new type surfactant named stearic acid glucose ester methyl glycosides maleicacid double ester is synthesized through glucose, methanol, maleic anhydride andoctadecanoic acid. The best reaction conditions: the reaction temperature is120℃,catalyst accounts for0.5%, reaction time is four hours. Adopting IR and elementalanalysis to characterize its structure, the result indicate that the product is conformitywith theory structure.The performance is evaluated through a series of experiments on the new typenonionic surfactant. The lowest surface tension can reach20.86mN/m, the interfacialtension can be down to10-3mN/m order of magnitude.The performance of thermalstability, chemical stability, heat resistance and salt tolerance are favorable. It also willmake the surface of the rock reverse to opposite wettability.Mixing the new type nonionic surfactant with petroleum sulfonate, through theexperiment of emulsification and measure of interfacial tension, show that the bestconstitute is0.1%SGMM and0.3%petroleum sulfonate.Through the indoor simulation flooding experiments of real core, the resultsshow that the new type nonionic surfactant and the compound can reduce interfacial tension effectively, emulsified crude oil, weakening the water blocking and jamineffect, then improving the oil displacement efficiency finally.
