But with the marine tourism resources comprehensivedevelopment at the same time, due to the factors of natural and man-made,there are serious pollution phenomenon in marine tourism resources. Withthe development of oil production in human life, the role cannot be ignored,offshore oil drilling, oil transportation makes the sea has become themost polluted places, marine oil spill caused by the pollution of large,wide coverage, recovery time grew to a worldwide problem. Offshorepetroleum is not only an important port of import and export, is gatheredin the coastal tourism resources, once the oil spill occurs, not only forthe marine fishery economy caused huge losses, even caused incalculableloss for economic growth point of the tourism city to marine tourism.Quantitative assessment of monetization of the oil spill caused by theloss of marine tourism resources, helps to define the party responsiblefor the accident of oil spill accident in the economic responsibility,to suffer from the damage of the oil spill economic subject to claimcompensation provide strong evidence.Theories and principles related to the economics of tourism, using the literature method, the collection of relevant information, using thebackground trend line and resource value theory, the general model ofmarine tourism resource damage assessment, empirical research combinedwith oil pollution in Long Island county tourism scenic area of Shandongprovince Yantai city as a case, the area suffered marine oil spillpollution assessment study, validity and feasibility in the practicalapplication of test model.The establishment of the marine oil spill on the tourism resourcedamage assessment model composed of two kinds of method of argument,divided into marine tourism resources value assessment and marine tourismbackground trend line prediction of two parts.
