With the development of China’s heavy industry, high-digital wrench has been widelyused. In a variety of high-torque, high-precision bolt preload and demolition of occasions ithas played an irreplaceable role. However, with the continuous expansion of the field ofapplication, the digital torque wrench in the market also exposed some questions that can notmeet the demands, such as too large volume caused demolition work can not be completed ina number of occasions; No torque data analysis system can not be achieved the applied torquedata other processing functions. Response to these problems, this paper studyed about ahigh-torque digital wrench’s reducer system and torque data processing system.In the reducer system,based on the requirements of high-torque wrench digital gearsystem, large transmission ratio,small size and light weight, and combine the advantages ofworm gear transmission and planetary gear train large transmission ratio, small size, andtechnically mature, designed a worm for the first, planetary gear train for the second and thirddrive‘s gear reducer system. And using the PRO/E software completed the three-dimensionalmodeling of the reducer, parts assembly and motion simulation, by simulation analysis get theruducer have a variety of performance in line with the requirements of the original designpurpose, which provide a reference for the large torque wrench ’s reducer design.The torque data processing system includes two aspects, and the first is torque data’stransmission; the second is torque data processing in the host computer in this article usingZigBee wireless transmission torque data transmission to avoid the tedious work of fieldwiring and timing overhaul. And it introduced ZigBee technology features, network andprotocol stack, using the CC2530chip completed ZigBee node hardware design and ZigBeecoordinator and the terminal node’s software design in the ZigBee protocol stack. In thetorque data processing module, using the LabVIEW virtual instrument software achieve thedesign of torque data display, processing, a system of virtual panel, and maked a connectionbetwen LabVIEW and database software Access, to retain the data stored in Access database.Finally, simulation tests to verify the feasibility of the torque data processing system.Based on current problems of the high-torque digital wrench, this paper studyed about ahigh-torque digital wrench’s reducer system and torque data processing system, and proposed,implemented and verified design, which laid the foundation for overcoming the existingproblems and further enhancing the performance of a high-torque digital wrench.
