Fully-mechanized mining is the most effective method in the coal mining. As a key equipment in the fully-mechanized mining, drum coal shearer gains unparalleled development, and its study shows a prosperous phenomenon. With the extensive development and popularization of electronic computer technology, the importance of the load spectrum study is well-recognized in many industries. Load spectrum study provide calculational basis to the design of coal shearer and make some suggestion to the use of coal shearer.The data used in this dissertation is got from the background database in the dynamic monitor system of the EAM system, the system is imported by VEMC in Shendong Coal Co.,Shenhua Group. With the EAM system, safety problems in the load spectrum measurement can be easily avoided. The related current signals of JOY7LS7drum coal shearer in the database is analyzed, and the relationship between the current data,cutting resistance and traction resistance. Load spectrum of cutting unit and tractive unit is got. The mean value, mean variance and probability density function in amplitude domain of cutting resistance and traction resistance is calculated, The value is analyzed, and a optimum running speed of JOY7LS7drum coal shearer in the51203working plane of Shangwan mine in Shendong Coal Co., Shenhua Group is got. With the optimum running speed8m/min here, production rate will be high and the coal shearer load will be minor and uniform. This research method can be widely applied in the coal mining practical production. autocorrelation function diagram, cross-correlation function diagram, autocorrelation coefficient graph and cross-correlation coefficient graph in the time domain of cutting resistance and pulling resistance are got, and it provided the basis for the correlation analysis, modeling and the real meaning analysis of coefficient in the model. autocorrelation coefficients and cross-correlation coefficients are analyzed, and the right cutting is in high correlation and the correlation coefficient is bigger than that of left cutting unit, while that of left cutting unit is higher than that of right haulage unit, and that of right haulage unit is bigger than that of left haulage unit. So the correlation coefficient of the left haulage unit is got. The size of cross-correlation coefficient:right cutting unit is in high correlation with the left cutting unit, while the left haulage unit is in high correlation with right haulage unit, and the cross-correlation coefficient of cutting unit is bigger than that of haulage unit. Meanwhile the auto-power spectrum and cross-power spectrum in time domain of cutting resistance and haulage resistance are got. With large amount of experiment and analysis, other influence parameter, such as Motion parameters, leaf, its arrangement, and fundamental wave frequency, will be found. It provides basis for the rational selection and optimum of each department in coal shearer. Power spectrum is analyzed and the main frequency, so that it can be easily avoided by the coal shearer structure alteration, and the life span of the departments will be longer.The optimum running speed of JOY7LS7drum coal shearer in the51203working plane of Shangwan mine in Shendong Coal Co., Shenhua Group is8m/min. autocorrelation function diagram, cross-correlation function diagram, auto-power spectral density diagram and cross-power spectral density diagram are got, forming the base of choosing cutting unit and haulage unit parameters reasonably and optimum structural.
