The vibrating screen is a kind of important screening equipment in the coal preparation plant and metallurgical industry, in order to meet the production reqirements, the materials passing the sieve is processed by classification to attain the products in diffent graininess. At present, the domestic independent vibrating screen whose precision and service life are less than the same type equipment of the foreign production has been designed and manufactured. So the study of the vibrating screen is of great significance.Circular vibrating screen as in coal preparation industry in a wider use of the screening machine, which makes the structure simple and maintenance intensity small, is mainly used for coarse particle material screening. This paper takes the SYK2445type circular vibrating screen of a mining machinery Co.Ltd as the research object, combined with the possible failure mode of circular vibrating screen in actual work, the modal analysis、structure analysis harmonic response analysis and simple structure optimization of circular vibrating screen are analyzed with ANSYS finite element analysis software. Specific work of this article contents as follows:In this paper combined with the engineering drawings and structure parameters, entity model of circle vibrating screen is established in3D software UG; The model is into finite element analysis software, the finite element model is built by the choice of units、materials parameters settings and the division of grid and other related processing. The modal analysis of finite element model is processed first, the first eighteenth natural frequencies and modal shapes are got and the result shows that the work frequency of the vibrating screen is away from its natural frequency and resonance phenomenon won’t happen in normal work condition. Then structure analysis is processed for vibrating screen, equivalent stress and displacement nephogram of vibrating screen are obtained under two kinds of condition-working and not working, the result suggests that maximum stress value of vibrating screen is less than the allowable stress and the maximal displacement meets the design requirements. Harmonic response analysis is studied on the basis of analyses, the result indicates that the feed baffle with Angle steel welds appears stress concentration and stress value is close to allowable stress, the trend of the displacement consistent with the actual situation and the maximal displacement basically meet the requirement. Finally combining with the anaylysis results of feeding baffle structure optimization improvement, results show that the maximum stress and displacement value of structure are reduced and the stress concentration phenomenon is also reduced, which show that structure improvement achieves certain effect.To sum up, this article by the modal、structure and harmonic response analysis of circular vibrating screen provides a theoretical basis for the structure improvement of vibrating screen; By eliminating the stress concentration of the vibrating screen, the analysis improves the working reliability and prolongs the service life of the vibrating screen.
