Since point source pollution is under controlled, ecological problems caused by non-point source pollution become visibly to public attention. The key form of agricultural non-point pollution are mainly due to the Nitrogen, phosphorus and other nutrient losses caused by rainfall lead to soil quality degradation and eutrophication Phosphorus, as the main nutrient of aquatic organisms and is also considered to be the one of the essential elements contributing to the water-body eutrophication. Thus, the focus should be given to classify the source and migration-transformation laws of runoff phosphorus, in order to understand and control the process of non-point source pollution need. This paper is based on the investigation of agricultural production conditions and the characteristics of the regional water system at GuangLing county of DaTong city in Shanxi province. The analysis used runoff field experiments monitoring methods, observed rainfall and surface runoff under natural rainfall conditions simultaneously, field monitored the phosphorus loss process in the river section and the diverse land use types of2010and2011flood seasons under various rainfall conditions, and analyzed its output features. The major findings obtained in this study are as follows:Different utility of land and output of phosphorus lead to different effects of soil erosion. Different intensity of rainfall and land use pattern might significantly affect the losses of phosphorus. As the rainfall increasing, the consistency of phosphorus output does not rise. The soil erosion is considered to be relatively minor in the sweet potato and forest land use under moderate rain, drencher and storm, thus the sweet potato and forest land use decrease the soil erosion dramatically.By analyzing ten different output of phosphorus and sediment characteristics in diverse types of land use under different rainfall conditions. The result suggests that the smallest DOP, DIP, DP, PP, TP and sediment output of land use types were forest, forest, forest, sweet potato land, forest and sweet potato land.According to the investigation, the results shall provide a series of effective and appropriate implementations to solve problems and control watershed of agricultural non-point source pollution. This paper offers practical advices for farmers to organize agricultural activities. Additionally, by following the weather forecast, it is advisable to cut down tillage practices during rainfall phases. Also construct canals and ponds specifically to diminish the sourcing effect for the initial period.
