In recent years, as the most critical architectural ceramics for daily use roller kilnthermal equipment, it was introduced to China in nearly three decades and has beenwidely used, greatly developed. Due to tight energy supply of the international market,and rising energy prices, energy conservation, reduce consumption, emission reductionhave become a consensus in the ceramic industry. As a new type kiln, the extra-widebody roller kiln meets the needs of today’s ceramic market. Compared to conventionalroller kiln, supper-wide roller kiln with low unit energy consumption, high efficiency ofland use, especially obvious advantages in energy saving and environmental protection.This paper discuss the super wide-body roller kiln firing zone of semicircle arch and flatroof structure numerical simulation analysis.Use Fluent preprocessor (Gambit) to model two kinds of super-wide body roller kilnburning zone, and grid the kiln burner meshing by using method of combining structuredand unstructured, next step into Fluent selection of RNG k-turbulence model, use DOradiation heat transfer model to calculate radiation heat transfer and the semicircle archtop turbulence.following main conclusions can be drawn from the analysis of the numericalsimulation results: Compared with ordinary roller kiln, the super-wide body roller kilncan not only significantly reduce construction investment,increase production,but alsoreduce heat loss and loss of fuel.In the super-wide body roller kiln burning zone,Thedifferent kiln roof structure have a certain impact on the distribution of temperature fieldand flow field.Reasonable kiln roof structure can not only reduce the furnacetemperature,but also improve the heat exchange law as well as product quality. From thesimulation results of the temperature field and velocity field,In parallel to the length ofthe kiln, the temperature uniformity of semicircle arch which above and under the rollersare better, while plain topped usually forming a plurality of temperaturedistribution.Moreover, in the direction of the vertical length of the kiln, the temperatureabove and under the rollers in the semicircle arch is more uniform,but flat structure istemperature stratification,Overall,The temperature uniformity of the semicircle arch ismuch better than flat one.This paper has done analysis and research are of a certain significance.Theconclusions for the enterprises to adopt what kind of kiln roof structure provides a certaintheoretical basis and guidance,For wide-body study comparison of the traditional rollerkiln and roller kiln is advantageous to the kiln production in the economy and reliability,For wide-body roller kiln of the related theory and research with a largercomplement and motivated...
