The ladle refining dephosphorization desulfurization mainingredient is lime, and lime in the air are particularly prone to thephenomenon of hydration, there are major problems in the production, storage and transport use. This thesis Calcium oxide powder adding additivessuch as calcium carbonate, sodium carbonate, magnesium oxide and the useof the methods of surface modification treatment so hydration resistance isimproved.. Orthogonal design method to deal with the combination ofexperimental factors and experimental data for this paper experimentalcharacteristics choose. The results show that: Using calcium carbonate, sodium carbonate, magnesium oxide, three substances as additives, And surface modificationtreatment can effectively improve the hydration resistance Calcium oxidepowder. Wherein using sodium carbonate as the additive sample hydrationresistance of the surface modification treatment is better than the samples ofthe other two additives,By orthogonal design test processing know thepassivation properties affect the Calcium oxide powder two indicators is thesample rate of weight gain and sample water absorption. Samples in the caseof the sample rate of weight gain less, pay more attention to waterabsorption.(1)In additive for calcium carbonate calcium oxide powder passivationin hydration resistance better test combinations are: the heating temperatureof700°C, water vapor temperature of30°C, ventilation the flow3.0l/min,ventilation time60min(2)In the additive into sodium carbonate calcium oxide powderpassivation in hydration resistance better test combinations are: heatingtemperature of500°C, the water vapor temperature of30°C the ventilationflow3.0l/min, ventilation time30min.(3)In additive for magnesium oxide calcium oxide powder passivationin hydration resistance better test combinations are: heating temperature of700°C, water vapor temperature of30°C, ventilation flow3.5l/min, and ventilation45min.
