Vanadium and titanium resources of Pan Zhihua is very rich, but the comprehensiveutilization ratio of vanadium and titanium magnetite of Pan Zhihua is lower.Vanadium andtitanium carbon-containing pellets not only have significant influence on the quality ofreduction, ironmaking production performance, energy consumption and production process,but also have a great influence on the comprehensive utilization ratio of vanadium andtitanium magnetite.At present, these pellets in some of the common problems existing in the formingprocess,such as not stripping of the mould, cracks, low forming rate, low drop strength, lowcompressive strength, high cryogenic pulverization rate. Therefore, in order to solve theseproblems, this article mainly discussed from the point of view of mechanics pellets releaseconditions, crack causes of quality problems.what’s more,it has inproved in process. thequality of the pellets have been improved.Through theoretical analysis, pellets can smooth demoulding mainly due to themechanical properties of the equipment. The best condition of pellets parting is as follows:At the same time, the author design a set of ball mould and calculate the ball’s ejectionangle expression. Ejection Angle size is determined by the mixed material of mould frictioncoefficient,as follows:Vanadium titanium magnetite pellets crack caused by that the connection had been neverformed between the mixed material particles or material particles connection had beenfractured.This paper was been analyzed three parts of surface of pellet: surface of the pellets, theintersection of two hemispheres and inner of pellet.and maked improvement from theprocess,using Pan Zhihua’s vanadium and titanium magnetite carried out the experiment. Theresults show that, under conditions of bond dosage of5%, moisture content7%,-200mesh ofparticle size of V-Ti-Fe concentrate occupy70%, and pressure intensity is10MPa, the surfaceof pellets have no cracks, falling strength and compression strength of nonfired pellets are15times per nonfired pellet and71.4N per nofired pellet, respectively.
