Injection Molding Technic Research Of Cable Box Based On Cae

Mold manufacturing industry is one of the most basic foundation to support the development of manufacturing industry in our country. With the adjustment of China mold industry, private mold companies have already occupied the absolute dominant position in the entire mold market. However, with the changes of international environment, only a small number of large companies have completed the transformation and upgrade of production technology, the production of many micro ones is in trouble. In the face of this reality, The use of injection mold CAE technology in micro companies will become more valuable than ever.On the basis of micro companies actual production,this paper select the typical product, cable box, and complete the design and production of cable box injection mold by applying CAD/CAE technology. First of all, this paper completes assembly drawing of cable box injection mold by CAD. During the design process, I abide by the injection mold design specification and experience.Then, this paper, using assembly drawing for reference, describe the process of importing the plastic parts model into MPI, the process of the model grid, the process of the choice of injection molding materials, setting of injection process parameters, filling+flow+warp cooling analysis. the design is Improved finally on the basis of analysis.I mainly solved two problems. One, because the thin wall of the part, and PVC material poor mobility, product has short shot defect after forming; two, how to reduce the warpage of injection product. the parameters were optimized in this paper,in order to avoid and reduce two defects after forming.According to the design and the analyzing results, a micro company produces the mold,test it,and produces the box, a satisfactory results have been abtained.The study of this subject provides a feasible way for the healthy development of the micro mold manufacturing companies. If it can be widely implemented, the many micro companies can obtain good economic benefit while reducing production cost and shortening the production cycle.
