Beijing is a large city in serious water shortage, the use of recycled water is an important measureto alleviate the water crisis. Based on the survey of comprehensive utilization of reclaimed water athome and abroad, we proposed the situation of recycled water usage and existing problems in DaxingDistrict, identified the research priorities and technical route of the study that the impact of the use ofreclaimed water on river water environmental assessment. Through on-site sampling and analysiscombined with laboratory analysis methods, continuously monitored the reclaimed water, surface water,groundwater and wetland conventional indicators, heavy metals indicators, biochemical categories ofindicators and eutrophication indicators,et.al out of the water,, quantitatively evaluated the impact andthe risks of the Xinfeng River comprehensive management project on the water environment andpollution. The results show that the new phoenix River project has a significant treatment effect onrecycled water, BOD decreased by58.81%~72.72%, COD decreased by31.85%~55.58%, floranumber decreased by34.28~99.09%, ammonia nitrogen content decreased by10.31%, TN decreasedby7.25%, from upstream to downstream, the river water quality showed an improvement trend.Antifouling properties Composite Index of groundwater is between69-112in the region, which belongsto a good area for antifouling performance, the hydrogeological conditions is good in this region,groundwater has the ability to resist pollutants invasive, the risk factor of the impact of recycled wateruse on groundwater is very small. Through comprehensive management in Xinfeng River, surface waterquality improved significantly, wetland treatment makes further purification of the water and has noimpact on groundwater. However, sewage still occasionally discharges into the Xinfeng River project,which greatly affectes the water quality and increases uncertainty, so it is necessary to make jointscheduling with groundwater, strengthen the monitoring, develop contingency plans and avoid theimpact of long-term use of recycled water on groundwater and other adversely affect on waterenvironment while using recycled water.
