In this paper, We take the waste materials of peanut (Kaifeng suburbs), leaves of Honeysuckle(Xinxiang Fengqiu), tea polyphenol (Xinyang Maojian), paeonol (Luoyang peony), polysaccharide of Yam(Jiaozuo) as our research materials. Measure the effects of flavonoids of Honeysuckle leaves, paeonol, teapolyphenol and peanut testa on tyrosinase activity using biochemical enzymatic. The optimum technologyof total flavonoids of peanut hull by flash-extraction was established, and the scavenging action to DPPHradical of peanut waste material was determined. The moisture absorption and moisture resistance ofpolysaccharides were also measured. The main contents are as follows:1.Review on the development of natural active ingredients using in cosmeticsThe research about the new extraction technology and the natural active ingredients using incosmetics were reviewed briefly in recently years. On the basis of these research, our research project wasput forward——Natural active ingredients were used in whitening and moisture cosmetics.2.The effects of several natural active ingredients on tyrosinase activity. The effects of tea polyphenol, paeonol, flavonoids of Honeysuckle leaves on tyrosinase activity werestudied by biochemical enzymatic. The solvent which can dissolve flavonoids compound was choosen,1%glycerol and1%Tween-80(the ratio is volume ratio) as a solvent system. Results indicated that teapolyphenol has a better inhibition on tyrosinase activity, paeonol and flavonoids of Honeysuckle leavesalso have a certain inhibition on tyrosinase activity. The effects of peanut testa on tyrosinase activity was also studied. The mass concentration ofpolyphenols in the extract needed for inhibitory effect on tyrosinase to50%(IC50) was0.4510g/L, peanuttesta has a better inhibition on tyrosinase activity. These active ingredients can be used potential factorusing in cosmetics.3.Study on the technology of total flavonoids from peanut hulls by flash-extraction, and peanutwaste material used in basic research. The optimum technology of extracting total flavonoids from peanut hulls by flash-extraction wasstudied using single factor experiments and orthogonal test: ethanol concentration of70%, material-to-liquid ratio of1:45,95V voltage, three times extraction, each for2minutes. Under theseoptimum conditions, the extraction yield of total flavonoids was91.91%.Using Vc and gallic acid as positive control, measured the scavenging action of polyphenols toDPPH radical, the mass concentration of polyphenols in the extract needed for scavenging action on DPPHradical to50%(EC50) was4.610mg/L, the scavenging action of polyphenols to DPPH radical wasobviously higher than Vc, a little weaker than gallic acid, which have a strong active on anti-aging field.4.Study on the moisture absorption and moisture resistance of Yam polysaccharideUsing glycerin as a reference substance, measured the moisture absorption and moisture resistance ofYam polysaccharide, Yam polysaccharide which take off the protein by dryer control method to determined. The discovery after the experiment that Yam polysaccharide has a certain moisture absorption and moistureresistance, Yam polysaccharide which take off the protein is better than that of Yam polysaccharide, whichneed further study used as an humectant.
