Philosophical Thinking Of The Ecotourism

The paper considers the ecological civilization ideological Marxismas a theoretical basis, combined with contemporary building practice ofecotourism at home and abroad, critically assimilate the essence ofChinese and foreign theory about the development of ecotourism. Thispaper is based on social practice, and uses the method of theory withpractice, the unity of logic and history and comparative analysis methodto study the basic connotation of ecotourism, basic characteristics,the philosophical basis of the nature of the dialectical philosophicaldimension and philosophical enlightenment, in order to providetheoretical support and practical reference for the construction ofecotourism in contemporary China.First, the article states an overview of the content and featuresof ecotourism, and discusses the status of the development of ecotourismin China and abroad. Second,the article explores the philosophical basisof ecotourism. It anglicizes and discusses three ecological philosophiesas the ecological philosophy of Marxism, Chinese traditional ecologicalphilosophy, western ecological philosophy. Ecological philosophy ofMarxism is the philosophical basis of the ecotourism; Chinese traditionalecological philosophy is the cultural and historical conditions ofecotourism, the western ecological philosophy is an importanttheoretical draw of ecotourism. Third, the article expounds thedialectical nature of ecotourism,discusses the dialectical relationshipbetween the subject and object of the ecotourism respectively and thedialectical relationship between ecotourism and ecological civilizationand material civilization, spiritual civilization, politicalcivilization; Fourth,the article discusses the philosophical dimension of ecotourism, from the three philosophical dimensions of the subject,practice, and harmony to illustrate the philosophical implication of theecotourism. At last, the article analyzes the philosophical enlightenmentof the ecotourism and talks about the three shift according to theecotourism philosophy requirements： shifting from the one-sided humancentrism tourism concept to the people oriented ecotourism concept,shifting from the simple pursuit of economic interests to scientificdevelopment value orientation, shifting from a closed and conservativeway of thinking to the harmonious open dynamic way of thinking. Thus,these shifts can help to promote ecotourism in a comprehensive,coordinated and sustainable development. The innovation of this paper is that the academia initial philosophicalreflection on ecotourism, with new perspective, new point of view andnew methods.
