All kinds of the sharp corners, edges and other irregular burrs (especially the inner surface of pinhole) are produced in parts surface of the machining process. Although burrs are small, the hazards caused by burrs are very large. At present, manual and mechanical methods are commonly used for deburring. They are time-consuming, great labor intensity and difficult to ensure the quality of deburring. At the same time, because of complexity in shape, the deburring becomes more and more difficult. Aiming at above problems, the inner surface of pinhole ECM deburring is researched in this paper.ECM is applied to the machining burr removal, and more reflects the breadth of its technology. ECM deburring and traditional ECM are different that former is required for smaller flow and lower pressure. The intersection line of pinhole ECM deburring cathode is designed and the ANS YS software is used in ECM to study the2D electric field of internal cathode which is more accurate to guide the problem of designing cathode inefficiently and high-costly can be solved.The main contents as follows:1) The key technology of the pinhole intersection line deburring is summarized. Based on ECM method, the intersection line of pinhole burr which is formed with45steel drilling is used, the cathode of the ECM deburring is designed though the feature of ECM machine tool.2) Based on finite element method (FEM), the voltage model of the intersection line of pinhole ECM deburring is built, the contour curve of the intersection line of pinhole ECM deburring is gotten by way of analysis solvers. The processing time, voltage parameters are analyzed which are affected the arc in ECM deburring.3) Based on the model of ECM deburring, the different parameters are set and solved by FEM, the contour curve of different process times and voltages are gotten. The process curves are detected by experimental research. The simulation results and the test results are basically same though comparative analysis. The FEM model of accuracy is verified. It is an important guiding significance in ECM deburring.
