| As the final product of iron and steel industry, the requirement of strip quality is getting much higher, constant tension is an important guarantee of plate quality,so high precision of tension control has become one of the key technologies of cold rolling mill. At present, domestic automation companies is still weak in cold rolling automation control technology and the research on cold rolling tension system is of important significance.In the paper, firstly a1700mm pickling and tandem rolling mill with six roll five stands production line of a steel enterprise technology and control system are analyzed. After referring to a large number of documents home and abroad, tension model is derivated and improved. Two different tension control methods are also discussed:tension control based on speed and tension control based on stand gap. Tension system based on two adjustable methods about1700mm cold tandem mill parameters are modeled. The simulation results proved that:caused by time-varying of cold rolling tension model, tension system based on conventional PI control is unsatisfactory. For the shortcoming of tension control based on general PID, make tension between two specific stands for research object, an adaptation control way in which PID parameter is changed following model parameters. Based on analyzing fuzzy and neural network algorithms, fuzzy neural network PID tension controller which is combined fuzzy and neural network is designed; the simulation results indicate that the new PID controller has great advantage.Lastly, for fuzzy neural networks can’t implemented in real time, a new fuzzy neural network PID tension control based on pole assignment is presented, through pole assignment in constraint condition, PID can be configured offline, controller parameters are modified in real time online based on parameter change. After analyzing Siemens TDC (Technology and Drive Control) hardware and software systems, hardware and configuration of the tension control system are designed, also the preparation and design of man-machine interface portion of the program. Control system can meet the cold rolling process control real-time implement, security, and stability requirements. |
