Gemini surfactant as a new type of surfactant,compared with the traditional surfactants.with higher surface activity and lower critical micelle concentration.in enhanced oil recovery (EOR) has broad application prospects. In this paper.on the basis of a large number of literature investigation.it based on the mechanism of oil displacement.the design, synthesis, characterization of polymer cationic Gemini surfactant, expect this kind of new type of surfactant can improve oil recovery factor.This article with diethanolamine.long-chain alkyl bromine generation (bromine generation of dodecane.bromine tetradecane and bromine generation hexadecane). polyethylene glycol (PEG) as raw materials.through two steps reaction series synthesized polymer cationic gemini surfactant.It is poly (ethylene glycol) bischlorinated (N. N-dihydroxyethy lalkyl) ammonium. The synthetic products are characterizated structure by infrared spectrometry, mass spectrometry, elemental analysis, and thermal analysis, confirmed that the synthesis product for scheduled synthetic substances.The poly (ethylene glycoDbischlorinated (N. N-dihydroxyethy lalkyl) ammonium surface activity of the study showed that the cmc is about from1.79×10-4to1.22×10-4mol/L. and the minimum surface tension (ycmc) is from16.02to12.45mN/m. which shows that the surfactant and the traditional cationic surfactant (CTAB cmc1.12×10-3mol/L,γcmc39.94mN/m). compared with higher surface activity. Experimental data showed that the surface tension and cmc as the hydrophobic group increase and reduce number of carbon atoms, with the increase of coupling matrix polymer molecular weight.The determination of thermodynamic data, experimental determination of a series of poly (ethylene glycol)bischlorinated (N. N-dihydroxyethy lalkyl) ammonium,△Gmo range from-49.05kJ/mol to-30.18kJ/mol.△Hmo range from-557.72kJ/mol to-694.49kJ/mol.△Smo range from139.01J/mol to98.95J/mol. T△Smo range from41.43kJ/mol to29.49kJ/mol. Experimental data found that:(1) Under the same temperature, the conductivity increases with the increasing of the concentration of the same material. Under the same concentration, same material conductivity increases with the increase of temperature.(2)△Gmo of the same material as the temperature decreases and is negative, specifies that the measurement system is the formation of the micelle is spontaneous.(3) As the temperature.△Hmo decreases and is negative. With the increase of the temperature,△Smo change is not big.As much as possible.in order to reduce the surface active agent usage, and to get synergies, the polymer cationic surfactant is examined with anionic surfactant under the different ratio of traditional distribution system. Experimental data show that the polymer cationic surfactant and SDS (sodium dodecyl sulfate) distribution after the surface tension of the scope for:29.35-38.44mN/m. Polymer cationic surfactant and CTAB (cetyl trimethyl ammonium bromide) after the distribution of surface tension range is:30.52-39.02mN/m. The two groups of distribution of the data showed that distribution of the surface tension is greater than1620after the gamma cmc12.45mN/m.As a result, the cationic polymer surfactant with SDS and CTAB occurred antagonism..Foam performance measurement:the stability of foam with SDS to sex in1620from84.9%to93.5%, n1620:nSDS=3:7, foamability is93.5%, the blister bubble effect is best. So.1620with excellent foaming properties.Emulsifying performance measurement:in range from4×10-5mol/L to3.0×10-3mol/L, t10(precipitation time needed for10mL of water) increases with increasing of the concentration of1620. V30,(precipitate the volume of water after30min) decreases with the increase of concentration of1620. In the4×10-5mol/L. t10is526.59s, V30is15.3mL. About in range from4×10-5mol/L to3.0x10" mol/L.1620is excellent emulsifying properties.In the synthesis of a series of poly (ethylene glycol)bischlorinated (N, N dihydroxyethy lalkyl) ammonium,1620has the lowest surface tension, critical micelle concentration and maximum viscosity. So1620is chose as a material for the displacement system. In3.0×10-5mol/L after concentration,1620is poor soluble, the experiment selected1620displacement concentration of3.0×10-5mol/L.Use the system for the core displacement experiment results show that at room temperature, after water flooding, the system can be the oil recovery efficiency-increased by15.6%. again has potential application value.
