Whether in the world, or only the domestic, water pollution problems has alreadybecome one of the most pressing issues. Agricultural non-point source pollution is oneof the main causes of watershed water quality deterioration. This thesis studiedagricultural non-point source pollution’s distribution characteristics of Hangbu riverbasin by utilizing SWAT model which developed by United States department ofagriculture development. Build the agricultural nonpoint source pollution foundationdatabase of Hangbu river basin, by using GIS technique, origin and other analysistools. And then construct a SWAT model with strong applicability to the study areaafter calibration and verification of the model. The main content of this paperincludes:1. Established the agricultural non-point pollution database of Hangbu river basinby utilizing ArcGIS, SPAW and other tools.2. With monitoring data, SWAT model calibration and verification are conducted.And then tuned the model parameters by the result of sensitivity analysis. The SWATmodel is shown to be able to well match the permissible accuracy through the valuesof R2and ENS.3. A simulation was run for the output loads of sediment, nitrogen andphosphorus in Hangbu river basin. A analysis conclusion has been made throughArcGIS. These results show that the middle of study area is the main output area ofagricultural non-point pollution, and the agricultural non-point pollution is correlatingwith rainfall intensity and land use option.4. According to the fertilization status, a scene simulation was designed. Theresult shows that the reduction of fertilizer utilization is an effectively approach tocontrol the sediment and agricultural pollution loadings of the study area, but not theonly route. Besides, attention should also be paid on planting pattern, fertilizationtime and other agricultural management route.This study has important theoretical value to the research of agricultural non-pointsource pollution at this area.
