High performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) is an important method in the fields of separation and analysis. The column is the heart of the separation instruments. So, how to improve the column efficiency has become an important meaning. Organic monolithic column is easy to prepare and has an advantage in the separation of biological macromolecules. In this dissertation, the capillary monolithic columns were prepared and applied to the separation of small molecule compounds. The main content of this dissertation is as follows:In chapter1, the classification of monolithic columns was reviewed. The characteristic of organic-inorganic monolithic column was introduced. In chapter2, a poly(vinyl ester resin) organic-inorganic hybrid capillary monolithic column was prepared using vinyl ester resin as the monomer and crosslinking agent, sodium bisulfite as the additive, carbon tetrachloride and ferrous chloride as the initiator and catalyst, respectively. The preparation condition of the monolithic column was optimized. The column was successfully applied to the separation of some benzene derivatives. In chapter3, two different initiator agents (azobisisobutyronitrile and GNURE1173) were used to prepare poly(vinyl ester resin) organic-inorganic hybrid capillary monolithic columns. The two different poly(vinyl ester resin) monolithic capillary columns were applied to the separation of some benzene derivatives. |
