Synthesis of chiral compounds is a popular field in organic synthesis, and chiral catalysts with high efficiency and high selectivity plays a key role in the synthesis of chiral compounds. Chiral1,1’-bi-2-naphthol (BINOL) is one of the most prominent C2axial-chiral ligands, although it doesn’t have chiral center. In recent years, the development of metal organic framework prepared by substituted BINOL has become a hot research topic in this field, and showsa broad prospect for its widespread use.In this paper, we obtain chiral ligand R-3,3’-bicarboxylic-BINOL by L-leucine resolute (=)-3,3’-bicarboxylic-BINOL. We get the ligands3,3’-dicarbonyl-2,2’-dibenzyloxy-1,1’ binaphthyl by improved the hydrolysis of alkyl esters, the reaction time is shortened by20hours; With2-naphthol as material, we get ligand4,4’6,6’-tetacarbonyl-BINOL via four steps; With1,8-naphthalene acid anhydride as material, through decarboxylation get3-nitro-l-naphthalene acid, then reductive into amine with the ferric, and generate stable sulfate, after diazo, get the4-carbonyl-2-phenol using boiling dilute sulphuric acid hydrolysis, finally get ligands compounds4,4’-dicarboxylic-BINOL by microwave couplin using chloride-ferric chloride as catalysts. It also discusses some influencing factors in the reaction process such as temperature, time, and so onThis paper adopts solvent diffusion method growing single crystal. We obtain the single crystals of R-3,3’-bicarboxylic-BINOL with transition metal Mn2-, Zn2+; the crystals of3,3’-dicarbonyl-2,2’-dibenzyloxy-1,1’-binaphthyl with transition metals Co2-, Cd2+; the crystals of3,3’-dicarboxylic-BINOL,4,4’-bipyri dine with Co2+; the crystal of4,4’-dicarboxylic-BINOL and4,4’-bipyridine with Co2+, Cd2+. Single crystal diffraction analysis shows that these crystals can be divided into two series:one-dimensional linear structure and two-dimensional grid structure. This paper gives a detailed analysis of the two series of single crystal structure. X-ray diffraction of the2D crystal prepared with4,4’-dicarboxylic-BINOL and4,4’-bipyridine and transition metal Co2+has confirmed the presence of nanoscale pores, and the structure is make the cobalt ions as node, generated regular two-dimensional grid, and the size of the grid is1.57x1.15nm. The hydroxyl activity center is exposed to cavity; powder diffraction results show that the phase is consistent with a single crystal structure.
