The projects of ion exchange were studied to separating, enriching trace Re and recovery of Re.Thiourea spectrophotometry and ICP-MS were studied for the determination of trace rhenium content inuranium process, and extracting trace rhenium from leaching solution by ion exchange.The weak alkaline anion exchange resin D302-II concentration-thiourea photometric method fordetermination of trace rhenuim in leaching solution was studied. Thiourea photometric method, withstable coloration system, was impervious to the coexisting ions in leaching solution. Which had thewide adsorption acidity range, and could enrich and determine below0.05μg/mL Re. The determinationof trace rhenium in samples of in-situ sulfuric acid leaching of uranium was studied by ICP-MS, themethod was satisfied with the experimental requirements by short-term precision, high sensitivity, lowdetection limit.The methods for determination of trace rhenium in leaching solution of uranium process werebetter, which could be realized with simple operation, low cost, accurate determination of trace rheniumin actual production. By comparing the two methods, thiourea spectrophotometric method is simple, fastand convenient, low cost. The detection limit of ICP-MS methodwas lower, and sensitivity was higher,which could satisfied with the determination of low content of rhenium, but the cost was high for theexpensive equipment.The adsorption properties of weak alkaline anion exchange resin D302-Ⅱabsorbing rhenium wasstudied, adsorption acidity was pH4.0-8.0, and adsorption rate reached100%, the adsorption was fast,and the adsorption of rhenium ability was strong, the adsorption rate was more than97%when flow rateis30mL/min. The static and dynamic saturated adsorption capacity was230and243mg/g respectively.The recovery of trace rhenium by weak alkaline anion exchange resin D302-II was studied, uranium andmolybdenum were impurity elements, could be eluted by8%NaCl-1.6mol/L NaHCO3and10%(NH4)2CO3, which didn’t impact the adsorption and desorption of rhenium.The recovery of rhenium in Tianshan of Xinjiang uranium industry of low grade rhenium wastested, the specimen of rhenium recovery rate was more than99%. Selecting (1+2)NH4OH as the eluent,the desorption effect was better, recovery rate was high, the ammonium perrhenate crystal were formedwith desorption solution by heating for condensation and cooling for crystal. Drawed the basic processon recovery of rhenium process diagram according to the laboratory recovery test, the on-site recoveryprocess of rhenium was designed exploringly.
