| The stability of talling dam has always been a concern among researchers both athome and abroad.In China,because of the development of mining, in recent years, moreand more tailing dam is or has reached its designed working life time andrequirements,tailing timeout working phenomenon is relatively common.In addition,thedam is influenced by environmental factors for a long time,such as rainfall andearthquake,and there exists hidden danger or even partial failure in the tailing drainagesystem and structure, which leads to high dam saturation line position, or even the factthat part of it overflows the dam surface,partial areas tend to collapse or piping,or largedam softening due to the overflowing saturation line.Coupled with the untimelygovernance of hidden danger, plenty of tailings are working with fatigue, which notonly affects the production requirements of enterprises,but also causes hidden troublethreatening the life and property of the people who live in the lower reachers of the dam.So, research on the stability of the tailings (especially disease dam) is very urgent andnecessary.Comprehensive research and analysis, together with reasonable preventionand control measure combine to keep the dam in a stable state, ensure normal operation,and also the life and property safety of the people who live in the lower reachers of thedam.The tailing dam studied in this thesis belongs to the troubled tailing dam.Meanwhile, the stability of this tailing dam worsened as a result of the attempt toincrease its height and volume in order to meet the production requirements.The research object of this thesis is Yunnan’s YuZuZha tailings dam,it was built in1976.Due to the effect of local seismic action,dam slope emerge seepage,it be deemedto illness dam after preliminary appraisal.So,in order to satisfy the mineproduction,planning on the basis of original design height to heighten and expandingcapality,to slove the problem of tailings storage.Therefore,in order to manage the hiddentrouble by effective measure,and satisfy the heighten and expanding capality,must becalculation analysis and research the stability of tailings dam.The main working and research results in this thesis:1. Establish a three-dimensional model of theYuzuzha tailings dam based on thedam structure and material layering, aiming to analyze the seepage under differentworking conditions and rainfall conditions with the present elevation+1922m (98m inheight) and final design+1934m (110m in height). 2. The distribution of dangerous areas in the dam body has been figured out bycarrying out the dynamic analyses of the body with the two elevations under the M7earthquake action, thereby evaluating the stability of the dam body, as follows:(a) Because after years of tailings piling up, the dam has been consolidated underthe present height, so the results can be analyzed by direct static and dynamiccalculation.(b) In view of the ultimate designed height, in order to be consistent with the actualtailings filling in the tailings dam, the author layered the tailings (12m thick) betweenthe present elevation and the final designed elevation by using the mesh of life anddeath technology of ABAQUS to layer and consolidate, followed by a series ofcalculations and analyses.3. Calculate the two heights of the tailings dams by using the strength reductionmethod,then obtain the safety factor Fs of dam to verify the rationality of thecalculations by Slide software.The calculation results and conclusions above,can be referenced for designdepartment about heighten and expanding capality for mining tailings dam, and formining enterprises in the tailings production safety management.For establishingsafeness and harmonious mining services. |
