Tube High Pressure Shear (THPS) is a new kind of Severe Plastic Deformation(SPD), this method can get a high efficiency in deformation and may realize the bigvolume nano-material preparation, which worked in three direction of compressivestress, so it have extremely important research value. Research of THPS was in theinitial stage at present, this article mainly do some research of THPS from some aspectssuch as THPS simulation in ideal condition, THPS numerical simulation analysis in3-Dcondition, design experiment mold and the analysis of experimental results, and lay thefoundation for the realization of THPS.First, the numerical simulation in ideal condition could analyse material flow lawand deformation distribution rule, and also researched the influence of rotation angle,average radius, thickness of sample, material of sample and ratio radius. The researchtold that THPS can provide big shear deformation, and after deformation the maxdeformation was on the inner of the sample, the min deformation was on the outer ofsample; the rotation angle and ratio radius were the key factors of deformation, the sameradius of different samples can got the same distribution of deformation after THPS.Second, did numerical simulation in3-D condition, and got the material flow lawand deformation distribution rule after real deformation. Through the simulation of thedifferent samples contact that parts of the friction, height of sample and pressure wouldmake different distribution and deformation: the contact parts would skid if pressure onthe sample was too small; maximum deformation appeared in the middle inner circle ofsample along with the increase of the height; friction of the contact influence thedeformation and distribution rule.The last, designed the mould and process based on the numerical simulation results,and did related experiments in the equipment, Through the deformation of sample themacro flow observation, hardness testing and microstructure analysis eventually got thedeformation of sample and deformation distribution rule were same with the numericalsimulation results.
