In the modern Electromagnetic engineering, the Electromagnetic problems of bigobjectives such as aircrafts and ships are attracting more and more attention, which need lotsof computational resource. For these big objectives, the GTD and UTD based GO arehigh-efficiency.The UTD is widely and successfully used to solve the scattering problem of PECobjectives as it clear concept. However, in military domain, as the rapid development ofcloaking technology, it is necessary to coat absorbing material on the objectives surface todecrease the RCS. Therefore, it is necessary to research the UTD of PEC objectives coatedwith dielectric.In this paper, the UTD formulations of PEC objectives are given, and then, theformulation of scatting field of a plane with an impedance surface is deduced, in which theDielectric Coatings are regard as an impedance surface. The formulations of reflection fieldand diffraction field from a cylinder with an impedance surface are given. Combiningliteratures with practice of author, the formulation of reflection field and diffraction fieldfrom a cone with an impedance surface are deduced. The scatting field calculated by UTDfits with that by FEKO, which verifies the formulations. Finally, a possible research directionis given.
