Suaeda salsa is a typical species in coastal wetlands. studying correlations between its C、N、P stoichiometry characteristics and its soil environment would help to reveal the structural and function characteristics of coastal wetlands ecosystems,as well as to guide this type of habitat ecosystem restoration and management. We investigated the relationship between Suaeda salsa growth and soil environment by studying the soil C、N、P content vertical distribution and seasonal variation and by analysising Suaeda salsa plant C、N、P content distribution characteristics. The main works are the following areas:First, We collected Suaeda salsa organs and the soil surface (0-5cm)、middle (5-10cm)、lower (10-20cm) in total of243samples in different growth periods from June to November. All the samples were determined experimentally.Second, we analysised the vertical distribution and variability of soil C、N、P content, as well as the pHase changes and cumulative chages among three different growth pHases.Third, we analysised the pHase changes of various organs C、N、P content and analyzed the C/N、C/P、N/P stoichiometry ratio features and analysised the correlations between C and C/N、C/P, N and C/N、N/P, P and C/P、N/P in different growth pHases.Fourth, we analysised the correlations between various organs C、N、P content and soil layers C、N、P content, and analyzed the soil moisture、salinity、pH how to act on whole plant C、N, P content. By PCA method explored which is the limiting factor for Suaeda salsa growth. The results showed that:At different growth stages, the soil C、N、P content declin from surface to down, and the soil C、P has a smaller vertical variability compared to N. Soil layers C content season change is mature>initial>growth pHases, but N and P content season change are initial>mature>growth pHases. Soil C content has apparent accumulation compared to N and P. The C content of Suaeda salsa organs is generally increasing, in line with the changes N content of leaf. The root and stem N content in the initial growth is the highest, followed by a rapid decrease, in mature increase again. P content changes is quite different in different pHases. There is no significant correlation between the organs C content and C/N、C/P. Correlation analysis indicated that N and P were correlated with corresponding C/N、C/P、N/P in three different pHases.C、N、P content of Suaeda salsa are positively linearly correlated with C、N、P content of soil, and there has significant energy migration and transformation between them. The soil moisture、salinit、pH are correlated with C、N、P content of Suaeda salsa. Furthermore, the soil moisture、salinity、P are restrictive factors for Suaeda.salsa in coastal wetlands during its growth and development.
