To elucidate the molecular mechnism of posttranslational modification of kinesin protein Kifl8A in regulating its subcullular localization and fucntion during mitosis.We showed methods to produce a highly specific antibody against the Kifl8A.The Kifl8A antibody was validated in western blot,immunopricipitation and immunofluorescence.We performed mass spectrometry analysis of Kifl8A immunoprecipitates by using this antibody and uncovered several modification sites.
