Amino acid is the important reservoir of particulate nitrogen in water and ocean. It is great significant to make aware of the distribution, transportation and transformation of particulate nitrogen in the river. We established the HPLC method of amino acids analysis in our lab and measured the samples from Xuliujing, Yangze River basin, Suzhou River and Huangpu River. The main purpose of the current study is to elucidate the distribution and source of particulate amino acids.For2008-2010, three years to select samples of four times in the Yangtze river basin, the main analysis of the amino acid aerosols states PAA, part is analyzed and the corresponding surface sediment and soil samples.with area, in combination with amino acid degradation coefficient of DI, comparison and analysis on amino acid composition and content of the three relationships. Middle Yangtze river suspended particle degradation degree, and at the same time the scene by phytoplankton production and transportation of soil organic matter. DI degradation coefficient change with the seasons:rise from spring to summer to peak, and fluctuate during the flood, and then decreased. Particle state distribution of organic matter in the Yangtze river basin is discussed, the transmission and variation characteristics. The particulate samples were collected monthly in Xuliujing Changjiang Estuary during2008-2010. Particulate Amino Acids (PAA), Particulate Organic Carbon (POC), Particulate and Nitrogen (PN) analyses were carried out to study the change characteristics every month and the source of particulate amino acids in Xuliujing Changjiang Estuary. There is positive correlation between TPAA and TSM. TPAA concentration reached to the top value (3.34μmol/L) in January, while it reduced to the minimum (1.31μmol/L) in October. Amino acid degradation index (DI) comparison shows that the Yangtze river estuary xu six hengjing particles state of amino acids and fresh phytoplankton is mainly derived from terrigenous input, and the annual seasonal climate change on natural processes and human activities such as the three gorges reservoir, such as the various influence factors.In2007, surface particulate samples were collected quarterly from four sampling points of Suzhou River and Huangpu River for particulate amino acids (PAA) analysis. The comparison among four sampling sites were made for general parameters (such as:particulate organic carbon (POC), particulate organic nitrogen (PON)) and particulate state amino acid parameters (D and L amino acid and degradation index). The results showed that the amino acid changed more dramatically in Suzhou River. Inferred from variations of Degradation Index (DI), the source of the particulate amino acids in July is freshest in both rivers. A good negative correlation relationship between D-Amino acid and DI suggests the variation of bacteria-derived D-AA during the degradation process.
