With the published of Yuelu Academy Shu book, something new been provided for the researth of Chinese early mathematics. It is another high tide in Chinese ancient history of mathematics that the Suanshushu was excavated at Jiangling,Hubei Province in1983, since the thriving study on the Nine Chapters on Mathematics Procedures. The Suanshushu contains the Chinese early integer and fractional arithmetic and geometric objects volume calculations, provides quiet a lot valuable information for us to study the economic and cultural in Qin and Han Dynasties. There was rich research on the suanshushu, and the shu’s study focused on proofreading and count peoblem researching,a few studies involved Qin and Han Dynasties. The Shu is the earliest unearthed mathematical book instead of the Suanshushu, it is bound to change some of the conclusions about the academic study of the early history of mathematics. Until now, there is no comparative study between the two books. In addition, some related Qin bamboo slips kept by Peking University could also be referenced. This article intends to compare the Yuelu Academy Shu and Zhangjiashan Bamboo slips Suanshushu from the text style and count problems, also, Chinese ancient mathematic ideology and the social development in Qin and Han dynasties should be explored on the foundation of Nine Chapters on Mathematics Procedures. Moreover, this article will compare the mathematical results mentioned above and western Hellenistic, which represented by Euclid’s Elements, to explore similarities and differences between Eastern and Western mathematics.
