High temperature superconductors have promising applications due to their high critical temperature, larger critical current density and strong trapped magnetic field properties. High temperature superconductors capture magnetic flux and the pinning force affected seriously for application of high temperature superconducting material. For study the superconducting structures physical and mechanical properties under electromagnetic field is one of the important topics. Based on the mechanism of electromagnetic force in high temperature superconductors, this paper studied the electromagnetic properties of superconducting thin films and the mechanical properties of superconducting thin shell structure.Firstly, we analyzed a superconducting thin films’ electromagnetic properties in oblique magnetic field. Import the magnetic field angle relation to Kim model, get a superconducting thin film calculation model between the critical current and magnetic field angle. We calculated the critical current and the pinning force in the superconducting thin film when changes the angle. When the angle applied is90°(the magnetic field perpendicular to the superconducting thin films), the critical current and the pinning force is smallest in the film; When the Angle is0°, the critical current and the pinning force is the largest in the film.Secondly, we analyzed the electromagnetic properties and properties of the electromagnetic force distribution of a current-carrying superconducting shell structure. Firstly we get the magnetic field distribution results under the rectangular coordinate by conformal transformation, and according to the electromagnetic and mechanical knowledge, calculate the superconducting pinning force distribution of shell structure, Based on equilibrium equations and the superconducting pinning force in three directions on the superconducting shell We’ll simplify it into a cylindrical shell structure to calculation and get the superconducting shell structure’s internal forces.
