The Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region is located in arid and semi-arid areas in northern China, is one of the widely used and the most serious areas of high arsenic groundwater distribution in China;especially in recent years, with the rapid development of industrialization and the Inner Mongolia city urbanization continues to expand, to break the original balance of water resources in the natural environment, due to the lack of water resources supply and groundwater arsenic contaminated area and the increasing degree of. Among them, the grassland area of mining, production and emission of agriculture and regional tectonic anomalies and other factors, often lead to the enrichment of arsenic in groundwater has become the premise of drinking water, arsenic poisoning and environmental geological disaster.The research is based on data collection, field surveys and on-site sampling, using the basic theory and method of hydrogeology, geochemistry hydrology, groundwater dynamics, by means of data analysis techniques, water quality measurement and other means and methods.It focuses on the eastern region Hubao depression (including care in most counties, and Lingle Tumotezuoqi eastern and southern) of arsenic in groundwater hydrochemical characteristics, accumulation pattern and correlation analysis; The spatial distribution and concentration of the area difference of unconfined and confined water of main chemical components were compared.Research shows that there is a big difference in concentration between the unconfined and confined water of Na+,Cl,HCO3,SO42-,TDS,TH,Ec.Arsenic of unconfined is mainly concentrated in the territory of the northern territories across that content up to100μg/L or more,and arsenic of confined water is mainly concentrated in the south of Yongshengyu that concentrations can reach above150μg/L.Through correlation analysis concluded that Arsenic concentration difference in unconfined and confined waterand concentration difference of sodium, iron, manganese, pH in groundwater have similar features.
