Wu’an city as the rapid development of mineral type, the number of growingdemand for land, especially farmland circumstances, to bring balance of arable land isnot a small pressure. Rational development and utilization hilly slope reserve landresources has become an important platform and key initiatives Wu’an supportsustainable economic and social development。In this study, high-resolution aerial remote sensing images, the latest data on thebasis of the land and use change on the basis of the results of the survey results andother data sources, ENVI, GIS technology to support the completion of Wu’an hillyslope reserve land resources survey, using two different sets of evaluation indexsystem, targets on the hilly slope land resources development and utilization of apreliminary evaluation of the suitability of the main conclusions are as follows:(1) The study, ENVI, GIS technology to complete the development andutilization of Wu’an hilly slope land resources surveys, analysis of each land elevation,slope, aspect, soil type, soil texture, land use, geological disasters, factors vegetationcoverage and geographical conditions. The survey results showed that the total area ofWu’an resources hilly slope is64339.36hm2, accounting for35.39%of the city’s landarea.(2) Targets established hilly slope land resources development and utilization ofevaluation system based on chromatographic analysis to determine the weight ofevaluation factors, evaluation unit classification method based on the integrated use ofoverlay method and raster Combination determine the evaluation method based onfuzzy math factor scores and the use of composite index evaluation model to evaluatethe potential of Wu’an exploitation. Wu’an constructed based on ArcGIS9.3can hillyslope land resources development and utilization of database and evaluation factordatabase.(3) Evaluation results show Wu’an development and utilization of land resourcein hilly slope suitable for development, allowing developers to restrict developmentand inappropriate development of the area was2089.57hm2,7665.98hm2,2949.10 hm2and20.67hm2, accounting for the entire development and utilization of hilly16.42%gentle slope of land resources,60.24%,23.18%,0.16%.(4) Considering the basic natural elements as well as economic factors, the initialestablishment of the suitability assessment methods hilly slope land resourcesdevelopment and utilization of construction land. Evaluation results show Wu’anexploitable as low hilly land resources suitable land for construction of thedevelopment, allowing developers to restrict development and inappropriatedevelopment of the area was1371.48hm2,2396.65hm2,6930.5hm2,12725.25hm2,accounting for the total evaluation10.78%area,18.83%,54.46%,15.93%.
