| In this paper, we define a class of differential operators T which are second order, matrix coefficient operators with infinitely many discontinuous points. And investigate the kernel of the operators by applying operator theory, it is shown that any increasing solution is in fact exponentially increasing and any decreasing solution is exponentially decreasing. Then we obtain the Friedrichs extension of the minimal operator MO,I as-sociated with the weighted operator MI and characterize the dimension of the bounded solutions of T. |
