Traditional methods of protecting the wall of borehole are mud wallprotecting,Chemical grout wall protecting, cement wall protecting and casing wallprotecting.Among them,the casing wall protecting is the most widely used method,butthere are also lots of disadvantages in it,for example the increasing of hole diameterafter using this technology,wasting of lager amount of time manpower and steel,evencould cause an accident in the hole.This paper will introduce a new type of wall protecting method—hot meltingwall protecting technology,it is able to solve most problems in traditionalmethods.The main principle of it is:depending on the huge quantity of heat producedby heating device,molding equipment melt the Low melting point gelled materials anddaub it onto the surface of wall which has been made out,after a few seconds themelted gelled materials will condense and curing,then shape a compact protectivelayer which is able to protect the wall of hole.This article make a detailed introduction of the structure design and selection ofmaterials of heating device and structure design of the whole moldingequipment,besides those it also including design of heat insulation device and theindoor experiment.by all of these,the feasibility of hot melting wall protectingtechnology is verified and regularities of heat distribution have been discovered.Through the research of this paper,we can acquire some conclusion:(1)the effectof Laboratory test is good,this technology should be developed and will be a effectivewall protection skill;(2)although The resistivity of high strength graphite is low,butthrough reasonable structure design,it will be able to fit the need of made hotgenerating material;(3)the heat produced by hot generating material distribute in thearea which is zero to sixty centimeter far from molding device.this phenomenon isgood for melting Gelled material and improve effect of wall protection.
