Weiquan silver-copper polymetallic deposit, located in Eastern tianshan area, is akind of particular deposit type, which lacks of in-depth study of its genesis andmineralization currently.What’s more, The ore in that mine is going to play out as itpland. So it is of theoretical and practical guiding significance to summarize thecharacteristics of this deposit and analyse the metallogenesis of this deposit.In this paper, by collecting and analyzing the former geological data of this area,conducting wild scene research and indoor testing, it is analyzed the Geochemistrycharacteristics, the origion of metallogenic material and the metallogenesis of thisdeposit. The analysis item includes major elements, trace elements, rare earth elementfeatures and the S, Pb stable isotope. Exploration and prospecting model logo issummarized.The achievements are as followings:(1) Geochemical analysis data of this area shows that from the sorth of Bailingstock to the north of the ore body, it is roughly displayed a lateral zonation of Fe (Cu)â†'Pb, Znâ†'Ag (Cu), showing the closely relationship between Bailing stockmineralization and the metallogenesis of this deposit.(2) R cluster analysis of metallogenic related elements shows that the miningcorrelation of Pb, Zn and Ag (Cu) is not that strong, indicating that these elementsmay be different in mineralization conditions and mineralization processes. FromBailing stock to the main ore body, characteristic ofδ34S varies from sulfur of mantlesource to sulfur mixed whith contingent fluid which movements along faults. Selement may be derived from Bailingshan stock. The model ages get from data of Pbisotope is close to the age of Yamansu volcanic, indicating that the ore-formingelements are from volcanic rocks.(3)The display and geochemical data of skarn in this are closely related to marinevolcanic sedimentary rocks-Yamansu, and the formation of skarn in this areais related to the hydrothermal tuff of Bailingshan stock.(4) The metallogenesis of Pb-Zn is closely related to skarn which is closelyrelated to skarn,Which is different fron the metallogenesis of Ag-Cu,because there isno spatial specificity between Ag-Cu orebody and skarn. The enrichment ofore-forming elements is closely related to initial enrichment of silver element inmarine volcanic rocks and low-temperature ore-forming hydrothermal in tectonicfavorable area.In addition, the paper also researched the Huangshan-Qiugemingtashi ductileshear zones in north of the main orebody, it is recognized that Weiquan silver copperore body is located in this tough-brittle transition zone which isthe south edge of ductile shear zone,where silver mineral is convenient to released an-d precipitate. It also sorted the mineralization periods and the prospecting indicatorsand prospecting model are also summarized in this paper.
