Taxonomic Study On The Spiders From The Dawei Mountain, Hunan Province

The present dissertation deals with the taxonomic study on the spiders from the Dawei Mountain of the Hunan Province (include Liuyang city and Tonggu county).The methods of collect spiders include spraying method, shaking-off, suction and so on. The specimens were examined and measured using an Olympus SZX16stereomicroscope and details were studied with an Olympus BX53compound microscope.Male palp and female genitalia were drawn after they were dissected from the spiders.Vulvae were removed and treated in10%warm solution of potassium hydroxide (KOH) for several minutes before they were macerated in lactic acid and then they would be clearly observed.Photos were taken with a digital camera Canon PowerShot G12mounted on an Olympus SZX16and compound focus images were generated using Helicon Focus software.The detailed study on145spider species belonging93genera and28families.The families include Pholcidae C.L.Koch,1850;Segestriidae Simon,1893;Oonopidae Simon,1890;Mimetidae Simon,1881; Hersiliidae Thorell,1870;Uloboridae Thorell,1869;Theridiidae Sundevall,1833;Anapidae Simon,1895;Linyphiidae Blackwall,1859; Tetragnathidae Menge,1866;Nephilidiae Simon,1894;Araneidae Clerck, 1757;Lycosidae Sundevall,1833;Oxyopidae Thorell,1870;Psechridae Simon,1890;Agelenidae C.
