With the computer technology and communication network technology developing, the traditional point to point structure can not meet the need of the development of control system. The emergence of networked control systems can make that the signal and data transmit and exchange through network, and it can realize remote operation and control, it greatly increases the reliability and the flexibility of the system. Linear periodic time-varying system is a class of important system. In the technology of physical and engineering, many problems even-tually can be attributed to the periodic time-varying system. More and more researchers are committed to the theoretical study. We can foresee there will be plenty of achievements ap-pear in the near future. Based on the background, this paper analyses and studies periodic networked control systems.The main content of this article outlined below:1. Firstly introduces the research background and significance of the periodic networked control system, then introduces the research situation to delay networked control system; Briefly sketches the problems and solutions of networked control system. At last, introduces the main work and content of this paper.2. Generalizes the related mathematical foundation and paper prepare knowledge. This chapter mainly introduces the basic knowledge of network control. This paper uses some ba-sic inequalities and mathematical tools of the commonly used. We introduce emphatically the related definitions and lemmas which are used in solving control problem and are used in this paper. These are the core and foundation of this paper.3. This chapter applies linear matrix inequality (LMI) method, studies the stability and H∞control problem of the periodic delay networked control system, this chapter gives con-troller design of the periodic delay networked control system to make the closed-loop system is asymptotically stable and meet H∞performance indexγ. Final numerical example illu-strates the effectiveness of the results.4. Studies the periodic time-varying networked control system stability problem, this paper gives controller design of the periodic time-varying networked control system to make the closed-loop system is asymptotically stable. Final numerical example illustrates the effec- tiveness of the results. The features of this paper are that analysises the stability of periodic networked control systems, including the delay is constant periodic changes in the networked control system and periodic time-varying networked control systems.Finally, we summarize the main research method used in this paper and prospect to pe-riodic time-varying networked control system, and at the same time point out the deficiency, improving direction and possibly of this article.
