The Study And Construction Of Digital Huludao Geographic Information Public Service Platform

Geographic Information Public Service Platform is the core task of the digital citygeospatial information framework construction, and is realization of geographical spaceframework application service function data, software and support environment thefloorboard. The Platform will optimize people’s production and life style, to speed upthe pace of urban construction and development, and promote the healthy developmentof the economy and all-round social progress. This paper is relying on the constructionproject of "Digital Huludao" Geographic Space Framework, to carry out the thematicstudy of public service platform. The paper main research contents and research resultsare as follows:1. This paper analyzed the present situation, and lay emphasis on theresearch of “3S” integration technology, massive geographical spatial databasetechnology, Service-Oriented Architecture that can supporting the construction ofDigital City;2. Analyzed and designed overall architecture of Huludao Public ServicePlatform，database framework and the framework of supporting system，and constructedthe Huludao Public Service Platform based on Service-Oriented Architecture(SOA), anddesigned the database management system and another three subsystem. Realized theoperation and maintenance of the service platform, data resources management，updating, and the integration and publish of service;3. Developed the Digital HuludaoGeneral Public Service System with Silverlight. Abstracted the data sources based onREST and called service combination to realize bus transfer function;4. Through accessto public services platform map service, combining industry and commerce thematicdata, use REST to define the Web service application programming interface (API), andimplement Industrial and Commercial Management Information System. Through thetest, the public service platform reached the anticipated goal and made a good effect.
