Xiaonangou Au-Cu-Pb deposit is a new discovered small-scale deposit, which lies in the west of Xionger Shan Terrane. This work based on the sufficient collecting previous research material and mastering the regional geology background, field investigations, geochemistry of ore deposit were conducted. The metal, ore-forming fluids and major metallogenic epoch of deposits in Xiaonangou regions were discussed in detail. The major ore-forming epoch are later Yanshanian.The ore-forming models of Xiaonangou gold polymetal deposit were build based on the geology,geophysics and geochemistry, at last, the prospect is to be circled. The metals are mainly from straitigraphy of Taihua Group.The ore-forming fluids were derived from meteoric water and magmatic hydrothermal. The major driving force is afforded by magma and structure of this region.Based on the work above, some conclusions have been made:(1) Four types mineralization can be found in this region:①altered cataclastic rock type Au deposit., which is dominated by Au mineralization,;②altered cataclastic rock type Cu deposit, which is dominated by Cu mineralization;③altered cataclastic rock type Cu deposit, which is dominated by Pb mineralization;④Quartz vein type copper deposits(2)The deposit is strictly controlled by fault. The occurrence of ore body is flat striking NW, NE and WE.(3)The wall rock alteration is intimately associated with the Au-Cu-Pb mineralization. The major alterations are:silicification, sericitization, chloritization and carbonatation,silicification and sericitization are very close to Au mineralization. Carbonatation is the latest stage alteration, which is related to fault and is a good indication for exporation.(4)Geochemical anomalies of canal system secondary halos is complied to mineralization.The major orebody is reflected by anomaly. The anomaly scale is still corresponding to mineralization scale, which is a favouable indicator for geochemical exploration.(5) EH-4is an effective method to find the fault for exploration, however, the data quality and interpretation should be combined geology of the ore deposit.(6) Targeting two prospect, that is,①Jingou Au-Ag-Cu poly-metal prospect and Yunlegou Pb prospect.
