Along with the development of science and technology, people are increasingly concerned about reliability issues of repairable product. Many experts and scholars did specialized research on it, and they have got a lot of valuable papers. My thesis is on the basis of them. We discussed the reliability of three-unit systems with methods of density evolution and Markov skeleton process. Supplementary variables made the system a Markov process, finally we got a series of differential equations meet by instantaneous states and some theorems obeyed by transition probabilities.The thesis contains four parts. The first chapter overviewed the historical background and current research on reliability issues. The second chapter made a brief introduction to some basic knowledge. Chapter III and IV is the core part of the thesis, we discussed respectively a series and a parallel system with priority repairable right, both of them are with three-unit. The last chapter is a summary of this thesis and outlook of future study.The thesis is mainly based on Markov Skeleton Processes and Their Applications edited by Professor Hou. We extended the two units to three, and researched on both series and parallel systems using two methods. Besides, we introduced the priority repair right in the parallel system. It is the first time to incorporate this concept to Professor Hou’s theory, and this exactly is the innovation of this thesis.
