Due to the prominence of geological structure and calc-alkaline magmatic arc ineast Kunlun, and also the discovery of some important porphyry deposit, East Kunlunhas become a hotspot for geoscientific research. In recent years, some importantproperties were found which shows huge resource potential for east Kunlun orogenicbelt. The attention on porphyry deposit of Yanshan period was insufficient. Therefore,it is necessary to do some research on Yanshanian porphyry ore deposit, in order topresent new ideas and breakthrough for the copper molybdenum gold minerals in EastKunlun.Based on author’s years of research on geological background,analysis of typicaldeposits, field investigations, and the studies on regional metallogenic regularity andmetallogenic model of Yanshanian porphyry deposits east Kunlun, and our results areas follows:1. The author systematically collected the data of east Kunlun metallogenicbackground and metallogenic belt of porphyry deposit, and absorbed the theory oftypical continental collision porphyry deposit, and also deepened the understanding ofeast Kunlun Yanshanian porphyry metallogenic setting and ore-forming regularity, allof these data present that Yanshanian post-collision continental environment is animportant period of porphyry mineralization.2. The author carried out a comprehensive study on Harizha andWenchahanporphyry ore deposit, deep geological-geochemical profile has been established ontypical porphyry deposit, which reveals the deep geological features of porphyrymetallogenic region,also confirms the dominant factor for most skarn and epithermal and porphyry mineralization mineral in the East Kunlun metallogenic belt.3. Through the study of spatial-temporal distribution and mineralizationcharacteristics of Yanshanian porphyry ore deposit, the Yanshanian Cu and Momineralization type has been presented, and the metallogenic model and prospectingmodels has been established.4. In typical porphyry ore (bed) point of main ore-forming elements and theregional comprehensive prospecting information, and analyzes the ore-formingpotential, we deem that the east kunlunmetallogenic belt has the great potential ofporphyry minerals.5. By studying the east Kunlun Yanshanian porphyry metallogenic backgroundand the characteristics of the porphyry deposit, our research enriched the actual dataof continental environment porphyry mineralization. The thesis points out theprospecting direction and breakthrough of the east Kunlun Yanshanian porphyrydeposits. We should pay more attention to hydrothermal and skarn type ore clusters ineast and south Kunlun orogenic belt. These Porphyry mineralization favorablesegments are significant for ore prospecting which can improve the theoreticalknowledge of porphyry deposit.
