The mafic-ultrimafic rocks is development, in connection with the Copper-Nickel Deposit has greatprospecting potential in Jilin province。A thorough understanding of magma type Cu-Ni sulfide depositmetallogenic regularity, master the type ore deposit geological feature, to look for this type of deposit isgreat significance。Through to JinDou Ⅶ-5rock ore before exploration work summary and comprehensiveresearch, this article expounds Ⅶ-5rock ore occurrence rules, genetic type and geological characteristics. The regional mafic rocks are widely distributed, they are the product of many intrusion。According toits emplacement occurrence, rock characteristics, metamorphic grade and the isotope age, themafic-ultrimafic rocks are divided into three period. The first period (Archean early) mafic rock ismetamorphic diabase gabbro. It has no differentiation and mineralization bad, and no ore-prospectingsignificance. The second period (Archean late) mafic-ultrimafic rocks are mainly diabase gabbro-olivetwo pyroxene gabbro-plagioclase lherzolite. In situ differentiation is good and mineralization is stronger.JinDouⅦ-5rock ore belongs to this type. The third period (late Proterozoic) mafic rock is diabase and hasno differentiation and mineralization weak. JinDou Ⅶ-5Cu-Ni sulfide deposit of mafic characteristics canbe summarized the following points.1. The ore body occurrences at a higher level of mafic plagioclase lherzolite or adjacent olive two pyroxenegabbro facies (local).2. Ore body and surrounding rock (mafic rock) have no obvious boundary, between gradual transitionrelationship with the rich ore and lean ore.3. Ore body distributes mainly in the rock mass center and lower (vertical).4. Ore with rare sulfur-medium diluted sulfur disseminated ore is given priority to, mottled ore small, crumb ore only in local accidental5.Ore body shape is simple, and more complete, for lenticular bodiesAccording to the above characteristics, it is thinking that Ⅶ-5Cu-Ni sulfide deposit, containing Ni, Cu,Pt family element sulfide of basic magma the invasion, in situ liquation effect, make the above elementenrichment and mineralization。It is the typical magmatic late liquation type deposit。As for local vein orebody, it is formed that the remnants of rich fused slurry from external influence were pressed into the earlyformation of ore body after the main deposit. It is the product of mineralization of the late filter type. Themetallogenesis only in local forming small vein, they do not constitute any independent ore body. Ⅶ-5orebody metallogenic process is as follows:Magma deep differentiation—containing sulfide basite ofemplacement—basick magma in situ differentiation (gravity, power)—metal sulfide melt away fromenrichment.mafic rocks are most controled by basement fold and the fractures of the genesis relationship. Becausethe structures control the mafic bodies distribution, shape, occurrence, the paleo uplifts of the arch core andits near side are looking for orebody favorable location.
