The study was conducted in east Kunlun south metallogenic belt of cobalt, gold,copper and jade. The corresponding structure unit in Caledonian period was the edgebelt of activity area joined with the stable area, and then transformed into continentalbelt of stable area joined with activity area in Hualixi-Indosinian period. The specialcharacteristics of structure unit is beneficial to mineralization and accumulating oredepoision, also have reached the background requirements of forming large-scale oredeposit. In recent years, many of metal minerals has been discovered through oredeposit searching work in the area of south side secondary structure belt of west partKunlun middle broken belt, it demonstrated that these secondary structure belt iscrutial in control of gold ore distribution in the area.The Ordovician located in study area is a combination of a series of clastic,volcanic and carbonate rocks, aggraded in flysh deposition in shallow and deep oceanenvironment, it caused the chiasmic basins as the product of prosperous period. Withthe typical characteristics of deposition including several times of linear magmaeruption action, which mainly caused by basic and middle-basic rocks of eruptingoverflow to effusive phases, and also the relatively developed belts with mixedneutral and acidic volcanic rock or acidic volcanic rock, as well as the double-claimvolcanic rock appeared. Generally speaking, in these areas always have higher levelsof gold element, which produces a positive effect on the gold mineralization.The researched region includes a series of clasoite from late Triassic oflithofacies group, in which the secondary structure zone and ductile shear zone hasbeen well developed. As a important ore-bearing strata area, it provides favorabletransportation and storage space for heated ore-bearing fluids. In addition, lava andvapour-water hydrothermal fluids by invasion of neutral and acidic lava guaranteedthe important material sources of forming mineralization during Variscan-IndonianStage, and play a very significant role in the formation of gold deposit in the region.It has been confirmed that the typical mineralized alteration, such asmylonitization, silification, kaolinization, sericitization, pyritization and ferritizationetc, and added tectonic zones of cataclasitezation and mylonitization are closelyrelated to zone mineralization,which can be on the important basis in practice forsearching mineral deposits and finding advantage areas of mineralization whenground work in the filed.
