| Two parts are involved in this dissertation:The studies on the chemical constitu-ents of Combretum pilosum Roxb and The studies on the chemical constituents of Pygeum topengii merr. The two herbal medicines were isolated by modern chromatographic methods,such as TLC, CC, ODS, Sephadex LH-20and HPLC.Twenty-eight compounds were isolated. The structures of twenty compounds were identified by spectroscopic methods including1D-NMR(1H-NMRã€13C-NMR〠DEPT),D-NMR(1H-1H COSYã€HMQCã€HMBCã€NOESY), IR and MS.Combretum pilosum Roxb,which belongs to the family of Combretaceae,it is mainly distributed in Yunnan,Hainan and other provinces in China. It have activity of liver-protection, antiinflammatory, disinfection and anticancer. Eighting compounds were isolated from the leaves of Combretum pilosum Roxb and fourteen compounds from them were identified as:(1) β-sitosterolã€(2) Daucosterolã€(3) Friedelinã€(4) Lupeolã€(5) Ursolic acidã€(6) Hederageninã€(7) Triacontanolã€(8) Cholesterolã€(9) Phytolã€(10) Vanillinã€(11) Eudesmin Aã€(12) Quercetinã€(13) Luteolinã€(14) Palmitic acid.Pygeum topengii Merr., which belongs to the family of Rosaceae, it is mainly distributed in Guangxi,Guangdong,Fujian and Guizhou.It have activity of anticancer, bacterio-stasis, anti-inflammatory, antifertility, antithrombotic and analgesic. Ten compounds were isolated from the leaves of Pygeum topengii Merr. and six compoundsfrom them were identified as:(15) β-sitosterolã€(16) Kaempferolã€(17) Daucosterolã€(18) Rosamultinã€(19) Kaempferol-3-O-β-D-galactopyranosideã€(20) tormentic acid. |
