With the constant expansion of the meteorological observation business and theincreasing demand for using of automatic weather stations in harsh environments,ground meteorological automated observation system brings out the higher demandfor meteorological Data loggers in the harsh natural environment of stability andadaptability. At the same time, Data loggers need to further improve in the field ofdata integration, data processing, data communication, etc. With the development ofmicroelectronic technology, sophisticated electronic measurement technology,network communication technology and automatic weather station system integrationtechnique, combined with the ground-based observations business model and specificservice needs, the thesis carry out the research of new six elements of Data loggers,which has the characteristics of small size, low power consumption, high reliability,good stability, flexible network transmission,highly integrated. It conforms to Chinacomprehensive meteorological observation system development plan.First, this paper introduced the domestic and overseas meteorological Datalogger present situation of the study. Second, the design of the overall system schemeis selected according to the application of the system requirements. Third, in terms ofthe design of hardware and software expound the design of meteorological collectorin this paper. Finally, the results of the system testing which add to a brief explanationare given.This thesis located in the conventional six elements of meteorological Dataloggers, which have high-precision measurements of meteorological conventional sixelements (temperature, humidity, wind direction, wind speed, rainfall and barometricpressure). The Data loggers not only have various communication modes, such as RS-232, RS-485, CAN, ZigBee and Ethernet but also have the low-power mode anddata storing function. In addition, it provides the host computer query historical data.Researching a new kind of six elements of the meteorological Data loggers is the main task of the subject. It can be divided into the hardware and software research.Hardware research mainly consists of four parts: the LPC1768chip based onARM Cortex-M3architecture of the core circuit design;The meteorologicalconventional six elements of high-precision data acquisition circuit design;diversification of communication circuit design;PCB board design anddebugging.Software research mainly includes five parts:The embedded real-timeoperating system μC/OS-Ⅱ on the LPC1768chip transplantation;Write bottom driversoftware; Writing applications software;Establish communication protocols;Writecommands parsing module software.Combined with the high-precision measurements of meteorological conventionalsix elements and embedded network communication technology as well as theexcellent performance of ARM Cortex-M3, the thesis design LPC1768chip as thecore embedded six elements of meteorological logger. It exchanges the lowesthardware prices for superior performance.
