We indicate that the expansion of universe is accelerating. The following three observationscan prove this: the baryon acoustic oscillations, the galaxy-galaxy correlation function, whichtraces the spatial distribution of large-scale structure, and the angular power spectrum of thecosmic microwave background temperature fluctuations. In order to explain the acceleratingexpansion of universe, many methods have been proposed. Two main theories have been pro-posed to explain the problem: one of them is to take dark energy as a new component added tothe universe; another one is to modify the left part of Einstein’s equation to consider modifiedtheories of gravity. In this text, we study the structure formation in the presence of modified Chaplygin gasdark energy perturbations in a flat universe. The development process of modern cosmology isfirstly reviewed, and we present the standard cosmology model then briefly give the summariesof the current established some typical dark energy models. In the third chapter, we study theformation mechanism of the structure of the universe, we discuss the Spherical Collapse modeland the Pseudo-Newtonian Cosmology. We sort out the dynamics nature of MCG dark energymodel systematically, then we make a in-depth discussion about Spherical Collapse model andthe Pseudo-Newtonian Cosmology, we show linear and non-linear structure formation in thepresence of MCG dark energy, we also employ the Press-Schechter formalism to compute howMCG dark energy affects the number counts.
