Because of simple production process,Low production costs and fixed shape, Filmstructure has become a good structure for researching the optical properties of new typeluminescent materials which include the Fluorescence properties and Amplified SpontaneousEmission(ASE) properties.In fact,substrate,parameters of film,even the measure ing position havean effect on spectrum from film.we study the dye-doped polymer film in this paper,Throughresearching the optical properties which with different substrate and with different film parametersunder quasi-waveguid,and researching the leaky-mode from quasi-waveguide.we take thequantitative analysis to the spectrum changes with different influencing factor then take theformula, and the results are confirmed in experiment.At the same time,we find that the ASE inquasi-waveguide have lager excitation energy and better tunable. In another aspect,we research theoptical properties of metal cladding waveguid/quasi-waveguide dye-doped film,and find someintresting result which is differet from normal dielectric waveguide.The main chapters of this paper are as follows:in the first chapter,the background,basic theoryand the significance of our study were described. The second chapter:By dye film prepared onquartz,glass and silicon substrate, and through the local spectral acquisition, we research the lighttransmission properties of dyes film on different substrate which including fluorescent and ASEspectrum characteristic and stimulate characteristic of ASE, and analyzes its mechanism.Quasi-waveguide structure is studied in chapter3and chapter4.Though the studies of the fluorescenceand ASE properties under different film parameters, and the leaky-mode,we learn about that thequasi-waveguide structure has the very good ASE tunable, and it’s ASE tunable principle isdifferent from the waveguide structure. In chapter5,we take the study of metal clading waveguide/quasi-waveguide structure, simulate the interface reflectivity between metal film(aluminium, goldand silver) and dye film,and analyzes the characteristics of the surface plasma wave excitation,thenmeasure the ASE properties of aluminum film and gold film clading waveguide/quasi-waveguide.
