The study area is in the south Tianshan Paleozoic rift trough of the Tarimpalaeoslab, where folds and faults are developed, a strong magmatic activity, has ametallogenic environment. At present, there is only small-scale copper mining in theLiushugou area, and its research is in infancy, the lack of full scientific study of itsgeological characteristics, ore-controlling conditions and metallogenic factors.This thesis takes the Liushugou copper deposit as the object of study, on thebasis of previous work, carried out through the analysis of the geological backgroundof the area, geological characteristics and geological characteristics, hydrogen andoxygen isotope analysis, sulfur isotope analysis, lead isotope analysis and rare earthelements analysis, and explore into a source of minerals and ore-forming fluids,analysis genesis of the deposit. To provide a scientific basis for the exploration of thesame type deposits in the area. The following conclusions:(1) The Liushugou group lithology is mainly dacite, andesitic crystal lithic tuff,quartz porphyry, andesitic porphyry, basalt and tuffaceous sandstone, Liushugoucopper mineral among the strata. The Cu, Ag content of the quartz porphyry issignificantly higher than other rocks, is the most closely related to the rock of theregion and copper mineralization, has the mineralization specificity.(2) Formation of quartz porphyry and volcanic in origin with homology, is theproduct of magmatic evolution of a homologous sequence at different stages, thequartz porphyry magma evolution late, after the volcanic eruption, the remainingacidic residual magma in the form of sub-volcanic intrusion to pre-volcanic stratalocated.(3) According to a comprehensive study of the basic characteristics of each orebody of copper mineralization and formation, and analysis on the sulfur isotopes, leadisotopes, hydrogen and oxygen isotopes, rare earth elements and other formingmaterials derived from the lower crust or upper mantle, ore fluid migration in thedirection of the magmatic hydrothermal, hydrothermal subvolcanic to volcanic rocks.Hydrothermal alteration in the region mainly is silicification, chlorite, epidotepetrochemical, sericite, is a typical low-temperature hydrothermal alteration.Comprehensive analysis that Liushugou copper is epithermal and the subvolcanic intrusive activities related filling deposit.
